App getting slow as the data grows? Before buying a bigger server, check your indexes. If a query filters orders by user_id and there is no index on that column, the database reads every row to find a few. One CREATE INDEX on the column you filter by most can turn seconds into milliseconds. Just do not index everything, each index slows down writes a little.
