What is aazmao?
aazmao is a free, skill-first social app where you share what you can do instead of who you are. You post Makes, Asks and Challenges, and other people take their turn by trying, answering or joining.
Is aazmao free?
Yes, aazmao is completely free. There are no paid plans, no shop, no tips and no paid courses, and ranks and avatar items can only be earned.
Is aazmao anonymous?
You can use aazmao without sharing your real name, face, age or location. You join with a handle, and your skills speak for you.
Who can join aazmao and what is the minimum age?
Anyone aged 16 or over can join, from anywhere in the world. You confirm your age when you sign up, and younger people cannot create an account.
Is aazmao safe for teens?
Yes, safety for teens is built into the system. Members aged 16 and 17 are in a protected tier, private contact between teens and adults is blocked by the server, and reports go to a real moderation team.
How is aazmao different from Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or Reddit?
aazmao is about doing, not performing. Unlike Instagram and TikTok there are no public likes or follower counts, unlike LinkedIn there is no hiring or self promotion, and unlike Reddit every post invites you to try something yourself.
Why are there no likes or follower counts?
Public numbers turn people into scoreboards and make beginners afraid to post. Without them, the focus stays on the work and on learning from each other.
What is the Deck?
The Deck is your home feed of Makes, Asks and Challenges, shown newest first. It has no autoplay with sound and no red urgency badges, so it is calm to use.
How do ranks work?
You earn experience in a skill each time you post or take a turn, and that experience unlocks ranks, stamps, frames and avatar items. Everything is calculated on our servers, so it cannot be bought or faked.
Can I post anything?
You can post anything that shows a skill, asks a real question or sets a challenge, including photos, videos and links. Content that harms others, sexual content, hate and anything that puts young people at risk is removed.
Can schools use aazmao?
Yes. Partner schools, colleges and universities get private campus spaces with class boards and teacher workbenches. Write to hello@aazmao.com to partner.
What does aazmao mean?
aazmao comes from the Urdu word آزماؤ, which means "try it". It is an invitation to have a go, learn by doing and get a little better each time.
Is aazmao available in Urdu?
Yes. aazmao works in English and Urdu, with full right to left layout for Urdu. You can switch language at any time.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, aazmao is a progressive web app. Open aazmao.com on your phone and choose "Add to home screen" to install it like a normal app on Android or iPhone.
